Still at Chatauqua park on our hike. Beautiful day and a bit windy/chilly.

This is the Willford clan at Chatauqua Park in Boulder. The first pic is at the Chatauqua Dining Hall where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beware though....we ordered scrambled eggs and a pancake for Lauren and the pancake was at least 7 inches in diameter and the eggs would have filled an entire regular sized cereal bowl. I had the eggs benedict and I thought they were good, but not necessarily amazing.
Then we went for a hike/walk in the actual park towards the flat irons and that was very pretty. However I wouldn't reccomend it if you are quite pregnant. :)

The Rockies game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Can anyone be surprised that they beat them. I was not, however I am surprised at how badly the Rockies are doing in their season. Chris taught Lauren to say, "Go Rockies" but of course she says it her own way, "Go Rockas!"

I don't know why I'm posting the top one. I just thought it was funny. And the last one is of Amelia at her 'field day' for school. They won a few times at tug-o-war.

Lauren was really happy to stay under the dinosaur on such a sunny day at the park. The last pic is when Lauren was so quiet while I was in the kitchen and I was amazed when I found her in the camping chair with her baby and her blanket just reading her book. She sat there for such a long time.

This is the Easter Egg Hunt at DU. Lauren got a huge haul!

Lauren loves books and likes to jump in the blanket basket to read them.

The bottom pic is when we wrapped Amelia's hair in rags for ringlets.

Pictures from Laurens birthday party. Lauren was a monkey and Amelia (if you couldn't tell) is a princess. The two boys were also celebrating their first birthday.

Lauren's exercise machine. She does this everyday and thinks it is just the best toy. Little does she know that it is the telescope stand. Good thing too, because I can just imagine if we left the telescope on the stand exposed to Amelia and Lauren. Amelia would most likely take chapstick and rub it all over the lense as she did the camera. Thank goodness our camera can be cleaned easily.

This was the Australian Sway Pole performance that was at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival this year.

Lauren really likes dolls. She hugs them and drags them around with her. It is so interesting how she and Amelia are quite different in this regard. However they both love bread as can be seen below. Go wheat bread!

It has taken me a year and 1/2, but I was finally able to bring myself to make Jiaozi. We had the young men over to help roll them out and stuff them. Everyone tried, but they didn't think they did a very good job. Unfortunately I didn't think to take a picture until the very end and these were ones that I did. Amelia's favorite part was the skin and Lauren liked it all. After I ate a couple I declared that it was still too soon for me and will happily wait until Chinese new year to make them again. They were good though so I don't understand why I get so nauseated still.
